    • Notice how the "0n" Center Field is active when the center is stimulated and inactive when its surround is activated
    • The opposite is true of the "Off Center Field". It is active when the surround is stimulated and inactive when the center is stimulated
    • The ganglion cells are in the eye
    • The LGN cells are in the lateral geniculate nucleus of the thalamus
