What to Bring to Registration Sessions

When preregister this week be sure to send the Short IDs for each class you wish to enroll in. See below for an example. Honors College uses POISE (an ancient computer application) that makes it easy for us to enter your grades quickly. Unfortunately it is less than user friendly in many ways. But, it is fast.

So we MUST see all of the information for your Spring classes but especially the SHORTIDs

If you wish to take advantage of the Honors College's early registration privileges you must communicate to us your schedule after the March deadline hits ((March 25, 2024)

In this example, the number Honors College will need from you is: 1979. That is the SHORTID. You will bring us a SHORTID for each course in which you wish to enroll. Every course has its own SHORTID; the last four characters indicate the semester and year

241S designates Fall 2024 semester, FYI

When you send me your Fall 2024 schedule send me the SHORTIDs. If you don't I'll e-mail you back and your registration will be delayed until you do so. ALSO SEND: course name, course number, days, times.
