Hearing Aids

Hearing aids work by amplifying the sounds we hear. Cheap hearing
aids amplify all sounds, they work like the volume control on a
stereo. More expensive hearing aids only amplify some of the sounds.
They amplify the ones you have trouble hearing. They work like a
graphic equalizer on a stereo, allowing you to amplify selected
frequencies. They can also filter out background noises.
