When it comes to writing a resume, people tend to get confused due to many notions and myths. Some say that it should only be a one-page document, some say it should be in a particular format only. As noted, these are 'myths.' If you have valid information, your resume can be of 2-3 pages; however, not more than that. Secondly, a resume is something that requires updating, and you can change your resume format as you keep adding to your work experience and achievements. You can also make use of resume samples in order to write an effective and job winning resume.


To help you write a better resume for yourself, here are a few tips listed below:

Submit a 1 to 2 page resume in hard copy AND as an electronic file. Use Word or Pages for the electronic version. Due by 8 December 2023 draft resumes beginning on Monday, 13 November, first come, first served.

 

My hope is that you will keep your resume updated. That way when someone needs it, all you need do is print or email it.
