Module 5: Early, Middle and Late Adulthood

Modified: 2024-04-28 7:50 PM CDST

Adulthood lasts from late adolescence until death. The developmental changes during adulthood are subtle and accumulate slowly. Robert Sternberg (personal communication) argues that adulthood proceeds stably until the last ten years of a person's life. Those last years may be marked by decline, illness, and, finally, death. This module opens on June 24 and ends on June 28 at 11:59
